Cupro - The Sustainable Fabric You've Never Heard Of.
Share
Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fabric made from cotton waste. Much like Tencel and Modal, cupro is a natural-sourced, processed fabric. It is made from the tiny cotton fibres that stick out if the cotton seed that are too small to spin.
Because cupro is a byproduct of cotton manufacturing, it is technically a recycled textile. Using every bit of the cotton plant helps reduce waste.
It’s a truly game-changing fabric because it’s also hypoallergenic, anti-static, stretch-resistant, incredibly durable and, being thermo-regulating, it dries quickly.
Much like real silk, cupro is silky smooth and drapes luxuriously. It’s fine, sheer, and soft to the touch. For this reason, cupro is often referred to as “vegan silk”.
You can find cupro among our offerings by Rya Collection. Enjoy the feeling of cupro on your skin when you wear The Swan Robe, The Swan Caftan, and The Magnolia Cover-up.
