We are the heroes of our own story… so make yours exquisite! This captivating print is a blend of the classic and the fanciful (just like all good stories), and was created using artwork spanning more than three centuries. We layered two stunning 18th century ink-on-silk hanging scrolls from Japan painted with wild plum blossoms, peach trees, magpies, and a luminous moon to create this design, then added other whimsical elements — including Flemish antique illustrations of wild deer, birds, and cranes. The printed trim comes from French silk embroidery fragments from the early 1800’s, and the charming pattern on the sleeves is a replica of block-printed French paper from the same era. The result is chic, romantic and timeless — and tells a beautiful tale without saying a word ;)

100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.

Kimono measurements: length 116cm, width 78 cm (across back, underarm to underarm). Model is 5’5” for reference.

Size Chart

Generally speaking, Pixie Dusters, Matinée Dusters, and Opera Dusters will comfortably fit up to a size 16 (depending on your bust size etc), while Goddess Dusters will fit up to a size 20.

Care

Hand-wash by swishing your piece around in cool or lukewarm water with a mild detergent for a minute or two before rinsing. {Avoid leaving your piece to soak, since this can weaken natural fibres over time.)

Lightly squeeze out the excess water, then roll up in a towel to remove additional moisture. Gently shake out and reshape your piece in all directions, and hang or lay flat to dry. Finish with an iron or steamer if needed :)
