Like all of the Market of Stars reversible dresses, this piece features a scoop neckline on one side, and a v-neck with ties on the other. The adjustable waist ties can be done up in either the front or the back depending on your desired look — or buttoned off altogether for a more oversized flowy vibe.
Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend layering it with a full or half-slip when wearing it with bare legs. The photos show our model wearing her frock both ways: with a slip (in the shots with Maizie the horse), and without (all other photos). The slip is not included.

About the Print:
When we stumbled across a hand-drawn and coloured “puzzle purse” Valentine that was over 200 years old, we were astonished by its romantic beauty. Made of paper, painstakingly decorated, and containing heartfelt declarations of love, it was carefully folded in to a pinwheel and had somehow managed to survive the last two centuries almost completely intact. We were instantly inspired to create something beautiful with it! Using all parts of the Valentine — including the worn folds in the paper — we carefully designed a captivating and pretty patchwork pattern, then trimmed it with pieces of the original poetry reconstructed from the author’s charming handwritten script. It reads:
My heart is true to none but you My heart I hope you will pursue The roses and the lilies twine Since you became my Valentine Round is my ring and has no end So is my love unto my friend
